Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is an international test of ability in Spanish for secondary school level English language speakers (typically aged 14-16 or adults). It was developed in 1988 by University of Cambridge International Examinations. It is examined by four major boards: Cambridge, Oxford AQA, Pearson Edexcel and LRN. Exams take place in January/February, May/June, and November. The IGCSE is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 years old. It is taken in over 140 countries and in more than 4500 schools around the world. It is considered by many universities around the world and often considered as the baseline for employment.
